These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Pixie Technologies’s Website, located at www.pixietech.net. By accessing this website and upon acquiring any of our web services, agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions stated on this page.

Pixie Technologies reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any provision of its Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Any complaints about a Customer’s violation of the Terms and Conditions should be sent to company@pixietech.net.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all Agreements: “Customer”, “You” and “Your” refer to you, the person who logs on to this website and is compliant with the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client most appropriately for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

• Customer’s contact details must be complete and correct with the valid phone or mobile number when transacting business with Pixie Technologies.
• Pixie Technologies’s does not allow website having content to defame any person, religion, community, organisation, etc., if you host any such website with us, your account will be terminated immediately without prior notice.
• You are not allow to use any of our services for Fraudulent Activity, Phishing or anything which is against law.
• If any customer acquire our service to develop website and/or application, on contract signing and development, any changes in the initial project requirements will attract additional fees. But there will be no refund if on the basis of this the customer deems to terminate the contract agreement.
• Pixie Technologies does not take responsibility for customer-made scripts and scripts available on the Internet or from any other resources. Customer has to check all his scripts himself. In case the customer finds that any of our service is not working properly on his website, we can only show him sample scripts running on his website. We cannot check customer’s script completely.
• If any website scripts found bad or resource hungry, will be stopped and customer will be informed by email. Once the customer checks and fix the problem in scripts, scripts can be allowed to run on servers with the approval of our technical team.
• We do not allow hosting free domain name registration, every customer has to pay before a domain name is acquired or an existing domain is renewed.
• Pixie Technologies is not liable for deleted domains by the domain registrar due to not renew on time. Note that once a domain expire, it will be deleted after a month. Every domain name is renewable annually.
• We do not allow customers to use our servers for any kind of pornographic contents and adult websites or any other illegal contents.
• Pixie Technologies’s does not allow to distribute pirated software, songs, mp3s or any other pirated contents on the hosted websites. If any of our shared hosting customer, reseller VPS or dedicated server’s customer is found doing these kind of activities from our servers, their accounts (or sites) will be removed from server without any prior information and net will not be responsible for any kind of data loss for those customers.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure you backup and download your hosting files (website & emails) through your hosting cPanel account before the expiration date of your annual service term, in case you don’t want to continue hosting services with us. Pixie Technologies will not be liable for any data loss after the expiration date.
• If any customer purchase our services (share hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and email services) for any illegal activity, it will be terminated immediately and there will not be any refund.
• We does not allow bulk or spam mailing from our SMTP servers. Any email account found sending bulk or spam emails will be terminated.
• We does not allow any kind of spamming from our servers.
• Email service is for customer’s personal or business usage only and customer must not provide email access details – (username & password) – to any third party or general public, customer is responsible for any misuse of their email access details.
• Hosting accounts once expired may get reactivated only after making payment, in any case, if customers do not wish to renew it they must take all required backups before the expiry date (account suspension), once the account has been suspended, it can be reactivated after making renewal payment only.
• Pixie Technologies upgrades the server, software and other tools from time to time. For this purpose sometime we need to down some services for some certain time period. If in case of any upgrade, customer will be informed 24 hours prior to the downtime. The downtime is usually not more than 10-20 minutes.
• We terminates (delete) the expired hosting accounts after 20 days of expiry date and once it has been terminated there will be no data available.
• We reserve the right of termination of hosting account that violate our policy such as illegal use of any of our services with 1-5 days prior notice by email. Pixie Technologies is not liable for any data loss.
• We are not responsible for files and data residing on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred and to maintain all appropriate backups of files and data stored on our servers.
• Every user of this Website should please read our Privacy Policy.
• If you find any link on our Website that is offensive for any reason, you are free to contact and inform us at any moment. We will consider requests to remove links but we are not obligated to or so or to respond to you directly.
• The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall govern this agreement.
• In any event of a dispute, the area of Jurisdiction would be Lagos only.
• Terms & Conditions on this Website can be changed without any notification.
